Kentucky 4-H Livestock Judging
The Kentucky 4-H Livestock Judging Program is a valuable educational experience for Kentucly's youth. While youth gain considerable knowledge about various aspects of livestock evaluation through their participation in this programs, the important life skills these youth learn through participating are the real hallmark of the Livestock Judging Program. Youth develop character and learn the value of the hard work and preparation that it takes to be successful, and develop decision-making and communication skills that will stay with them for a lifetime. In addition, the friendships these youth make with others from different areas of the state are one’s that will remain with them throughout their lives.
The 2015 Kentucky 4-H Livestock Judging Contest will be held on June 16, 2015, at the Madison County Fairgrounds (3237 Old Irvine Road, Richmond, KY 40475), and the 2015 Award Breakfast will be held on June 17, 2015 at the National Guard Armory (1033 Battlefield Memorial Highway, Richmond, KY 40475).
